Total Days
For a more direct approach, the OutDated App allows you to simply reveal the total number of days that have passed since the chosen date. Mind Reading Effects
OutDated App allows you to peek the number of days that have been passed since the participants freely chosen date which you can use to perform a direct mind reading effect. Here's how it works:
Push Notification from Inject
OutDated App automatically sends the number of days to your Inject account and triggers push notification so you can peek it either from your phone, smartwatch or any other peek device.
Live peek within the Outdated App
OutDated App has a black screen mode in which a live peek of the number of days appears at the bottom of the screen.

Effect with Inject and Hydra App
The performer begins by asking the spectator to think of any date. Then, the performer inquires if the spectator knows the number of days elapsed since that date, a detail they likely wouldn't know.
To ascertain the duration, the performer instructs the spectator to search for their date on Google, typing "how many days since [their chosen date].
Finally, the performer asks the spectator to open their Instagram profile, where the spectator will find some numbers in the bio. These numbers, when added up, precisely match the number of days calculated by the spectator.
Key Notes:
- There is a perfect motivation for having the spectator lookup their date in Google (through Inject) as they don't know the number of days.
- Performers can highlight the special nature of the generated number, emphasizing that it is unique to the present moment. Had the spectator conducted the search a week earlier or later, the resulting number would have varied.
